Friday, February 27
6pm – “Throw Me Something, Mister” Bead Wall @ Clubhouse/Pavilion Snap it like it’s hot! Our bead-tastic photo backdrop is perfect for making your friends jealous. Open all weekend long — come strike a pose and let the good times roll!
7pm – “Dixie Treats n Beats” Meet n Greet @ Firepit Sip, snack, and sass it up by the fire with sultry Southern tunes and Louisiana goodies. It’s the calm before the Hurricane, y’all — and we’re just getting started.
8pm – “Show Me What You Got” Carnival Karaoke @ Pavilion Bring the drama, the vocals, and the glitter! Hosts Mike & Gene will cheer you on as you belt your heart out. Bonus points if your song contains “Louisiana,” “New Orleans,” or “Mardi Gras”!
10pm – “Show Me Yours, I’ll Show You Mine” After Party @ The Red Light (RV#99) Billy Ray’s got the beats, the booze, and the bold vibes. Swing by for late-night laughs, libations, and a little campground mischief.
Saturday, February 28
All Day – “Throw Me Something, Mister” Bead Wall @ Pavilion Still fabulous, still open — come get your glam on and snap those envy-inducing pics!
4pm – Golf Cart Mardi Gras Parade & Contest @ Campground Prizes for Best Decorated Cart!
Drivers: Deck out your carts in full Mardi Gras glory and line up behind the pool by 4pm. Don’t forget to bring beads to throw and to obey the 10-mph speed limit!
Watchers: Post up by the Clubhouse or catch the parade rollin’ through camp. Smile pretty — you might just get some beads thrown your way!
6pm – Jambalaya Jamboree & Potluck @ Clubhouse In addition to all the yummy foods y’all are bringin’, Ronnie’s cookin’ up THREE kinds of jambalaya: (1) Chicken & Sausage; (2) Shrimp; and (3) Veggie. Bring your appetite and your best potluck dish — it’s a Louisiana feast, y’all! Be sure to have all foods in the kitchen ready to eat by 5:58pm!
8pm – Costume Contest & Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball @Clubhouse/Pavilion Prizes for Best Mardi Gras Costume! Strut your stuff, shake those beads, and dance the night away with DJ Lady Bear & 4Eyez.
Mardi Gras Costume Contestants:
o Arrive before 8pm to enter the contest; judging begins at 8pm!
o Winners announced immediately after judging! Those not in the contest are still encouraged to dress in costumes, masks, or even the Mardi Gras colors (green, purple, gold). New Orleans King Cake will be served along with light refreshments and drinks. Beads encouraged … depending on how you earn them.
10pm – “Beads in the Trap” After Party @ The Red Light (RV#99) One last hurrah with Billy Ray — music, drinks, and a whole lotta sparkle to close out the weekend in style.
