TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The River’s Edge Campground
Effective Date: 10/1/2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern reservations, entry onto the property, use of facilities, attendance at events, and use of the website of TRE Management, LLC (dba) The River’s Edge (“TRE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By making a reservation, entering the campground, attending an event, or using our website, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.


1. SEASONS & RATES

In-Season: March 1 – November 30
Winter Season: December 1 – February 28

Holiday Rates Apply To:

  • Memorial Day Weekend

  • Fourth of July Weekend

  • Labor Day Weekend

Holiday and special event pricing may differ from standard seasonal rates.

TRE reserves the right to modify rates at any time prior to payment at check-in.


2. RESERVATIONS & CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations.

  • No deposit is taken at booking.

  • Payment is processed at check-in.

  • By providing a credit card, you authorize TRE to charge the card on file for:

    • Late cancellations

    • No-shows

    • Undisclosed guests or pets

    • Damages

    • Unpaid balances

    • Policy violations

You agree not to dispute valid charges related to this Agreement.


3. PAYMENT TERMS

Full payment is required at check-in prior to entering the campground and includes:

  • Site/accommodation fees

  • Guest fees

  • Membership fees

  • Pet fees

  • Applicable taxes and charges

Accepted forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Major credit cards (excluding American Express)

Failure to complete payment may result in denial of entry.


4. REFUND POLICY

All payments are final.

No refunds will be issued unless the error was made by TRE.

Guests are responsible for reserving only the nights they are certain they will use.

Early departures, weather conditions, personal emergencies, or event cancellations do not qualify for refunds.


5. EXTENDING YOUR STAY

Guests wishing to extend their stay must return to the office prior to the 11:00 AM checkout time.

Extensions are subject to availability and must be paid in full at the time of request.

TRE is under no obligation to extend stays.


6. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS

For RV sites, indoor accommodations, and electric tent sites:

A three (3) night minimum stay is required for:

  • Memorial Day Weekend

  • Fourth of July Weekend

  • Labor Day Weekend

TRE reserves the right to impose additional minimum stays for special events.


7. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made:

  • At least 7 days prior to arrival

  • 14 days prior for holiday weekends

Late cancellations will result in a charge of a one-night / one-person fee, based on the reserved accommodation and applicable rate.

No-shows will be charged the same one-night / one-person fee.


Inclement Weather & Event Cancellations

Inclement weather, acts of nature, or event cancellations do not automatically cancel your reservation.

All cancellation policies remain in effect.


8. PET POLICY

TRE is pet friendly under the following conditions:

  • Pets must remain leashed at all times.

  • Guests must clean up after their pets immediately.

  • Pets must not be aggressive or disruptive.

Indoor Accommodations:

  • $20 non-refundable pet fee per stay.

Failure to disclose a pet in indoor accommodations:

  • $40 charge (double fee) will be applied to the card on file.

TRE reserves the right to require removal of any pet deemed unsafe.


9. CAMP RULES & GUEST CONDUCT

TRE is a private campground.

Guests must comply with all posted rules and staff instructions.

Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment or threatening behavior

  • Excessive intoxication creating safety risks

  • Illegal drug use

  • Destruction of property

  • Unauthorized entry into restricted areas

  • Disorderly conduct

TRE reserves the right to remove any guest at its sole discretion.

Removal for rule violations will result in immediate eviction without refund.

10. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Camping and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks including, but not limited to:

  • Uneven terrain

  • Wildlife

  • Weather conditions

  • Fire hazards

  • Water-related risks

  • Alcohol-related incidents

  • Participation in adult-themed events

By entering the property, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with their stay.


11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

TRE, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Death

  • Loss or theft of personal property

  • Vehicle damage

  • Weather-related damage

  • Accidents occurring on the premises

In no event shall TRE’s liability exceed the amount paid by the guest for their stay.


12. INDEMNIFICATION

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRE from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Guest conduct

  • Guest negligence

  • Guest violation of these Terms

  • Actions of guest invitees or pets


13. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE

TRE hosts events where photography and video recording may occur.

By entering the property, guests grant TRE permission to:

  • Photograph or record them

  • Use images or video for promotional, advertising, and social media purposes

Guests who do not wish to appear in media must notify marketing@camptheriversedge.com with exact examples of media they appear in. 


14. WEBSITE USE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All logos, event names, branding, and website content are the intellectual property of The River’s Edge Campground.

Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or commercial use is prohibited.

TRE is not responsible for third-party links or external content.


15. SMS & Text Messaging Privacy Policy

By providing your mobile phone number and selecting the opt-in checkbox during the reservation or booking checkout process, you consent to receive SMS text messages from The River’s Edge Campground (“TRE”).

These messages may include:

  • Reservation updates

  • Stay-related notifications

  • Event information

  • Customer service communications

  • Marketing or promotional messages

  • Guests may receive SMS messages before, during, or after their stay.

 

We will not share or sell subscriber information with 3rd parties for their direct marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. By selecting the Check Box on The Bookings Check Out Page Guests Agree to Receive Marketing SMS. Guests may receive an SMS before/during/after their stay with us. Reply STOP to Opt-Out I Reply HELP for Assistance. Standard message and data rates may apply.


16. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

TRE reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for lawful reasons.


17. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State].

Any disputes must be brought in the appropriate courts of that state.


18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the guest and The River’s Edge Campground.

By making a reservation or entering the property, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms.

Graphic Art:

Hosting an event requires providing graphic artwork in the following sizes to meet our marketing needs, including email campaigns, social media, print ads, website placement, and digital monitors:

  • 1920×1080px & 1080×1080px in .png format (include event name, dates, and basic information).
  • 8.5×11 inch .png event poster with event name, date, and full event schedule. We have a graphic guide available to help make this easy.

Marketing Assistance

Marketing your event is crucial because even the best ideas need visibility to thrive. Are you able and willing to create and keep an updated Facebook event for your event? If not, that's OK. Our marketing team is willing to do it on your behalf, with co-shared marketing.
