Step into the shadows and discover a weekend where folklore, fantasy, and the unknown come alive after dark.

Folklore Weekend invites you to embrace the mystical, the magical, and the mysterious. Whether you’re drawn to enchanted forests, ancient legends, creatures of the night, or simply love an unforgettable atmosphere, this weekend is all about escaping reality and celebrating self-expression.

Come dressed in costume, come in leather, come in drag, come as your fursona, come naked, or simply come as yourself. At The River’s Edge, there’s no wrong way to experience the magic. Whether you’re dancing beneath the stars, sharing stories with friends, or embracing your wild side, Folklore Weekend promises a little mystery, a little mischief, and a lot of unforgettable memories.

The only requirement? Bring your imagination

Fairytales After Dark – Friday, October 2
8 PM – Meet & Greet @ RVs 44 & 45 (NOTE DIFFERENT LOCATION)
9 PM to Midnight – Haunting, brooding, blissful sounds from across genres – beer and water served

Things That Go Bump in the Night – Saturday, October 3
8 PM – Midnight – Deep, dark dance beats and backroom music @ RVs 44 & 45 – beer and water served

***What to wear***
While costumes are welcomed, you don’t have to fit a theme. You do you, boo.
Street clothes, naked, leather, fursona, pup, drag, etc. are all absolutely cool.
If you want to do a themed costume, here’s the vibe for each night:
  • Fairytales after Dark: Think witches, Fae, sirens, nymphs, enchanted forest creatures, Wiccans, Druids
  • Things That Go Bump in the Night: Think demons, devils, cryptids, mythical beasts, dark forest creatures, werewolves
